Important information regarding upcoming maintenance across our Services

Hey, clients of Ultra.cc

We wanted to inform you that, as part of our ongoing efforts to enhance and optimize our infrastructure for future growth, we will be reorganizing servers within our system.

We have a scheduled maintenance window between 1:00 AM and 10:00 AM CEST across a fifteen-day period starting Friday, October 18th, 2024. Each outage is expected to last up to 8 hours as power output is optimized, with different servers being affected on various days.

All maintenance windows are at night to try to be as least disruptive as possible in the CEST timezone.

All the dates and affected servers are listed in detail below. Also note that after the 27th CEST becomes CET due to clocks changing!

All affected clients will receive emails ten days before the downtime and another the day before the maintenance proceeds as a reminder.

During the scheduled maintenance window, intermittent power outages may affect each server for up to 8 hours. We understand that downtime can be disruptive, and our team will work diligently to minimize any inconvenience and complete the work as efficiently as possible.

In the unlikely event of any changes or delays, we will notify you promptly and provide regular updates throughout the process.

The maintenance process will not involve any changes to data or configurations. The servers will be reconnected and reorganized safely across different racks. There are no changes to data or hardware, so IPs, ports, hostnames, and application endpoints will not change.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. This move is essential for enhancing and expanding our service in the future.
