ANNOUNCEMENT: Ultra.cc Pricing and Stock Update

Storage plan pricing update
We want to give you advance notice that we’ll be updating the EUR prices of our Ultra.cc storage plans on Saturday, 19 September 2026, alongside the release of new stock.
We know price changes matter, so we want to be clear about why this is happening, when it takes effect, and what it means for your service.
Why prices are changing
The cost of the hardware used to build and expand our platform has risen sharply. This is not limited to hard drives: RAM and silicon-based components have also become significantly more expensive amid sustained supply constraints. Hard-drive prices alone are now around 70% higher than they were five months ago.
We secured a significant amount of hardware at earlier prices, which helped us hold our plan prices for longer. However, continuing to add capacity at the current prices is no longer sustainable as that allocation runs out.
We do not want to respond by compromising on service quality, hardware standards, performance, reliability or support. This adjustment allows us to continue investing in the infrastructure and capacity our customers depend on while keeping the increase as limited as possible.
New EUR pricing
The following proposed monthly EUR prices will apply when the new stock is released:
Essentials
| Plan | Storage | Monthly upload | EUR/month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lancer | 1 TB | 2 TB | €6.50 |
| Spirit | 2 TB | 4 TB | €10.95 |
Metaliux
| Plan | Storage | Monthly upload | EUR/month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tin | 4 TB | 10 TB | €13.95 |
| Iron | 6 TB | 15 TB | €20.95 |
| Steel | 8 TB | 20 TB | €26.95 |
| Nickel | 12 TB | 30 TB | €38.95 |
| Bronze | 16 TB | 40 TB | €49.95 |
| Gold | 22 TB | 55 TB | €65.95 |
| Platinum | 28 TB | 70 TB | €79.95 |
USD prices are still being finalised and will be announced separately.
A simplified plan lineup
The plans listed above will make up our new Essentials and Metaliux lineup. As part of this change, Eagle, Silver and Cobalt will be retired completely and will no longer be available for new orders, upgrades or downgrades.
Bolt NVMe plans are excluded from this change and are not being retired as part of this pricing update.
If you already have an Eagle, Silver or Cobalt subscription, you can keep it at its current price for as long as the subscription remains unchanged.
What this means for existing customers
If you keep your current subscription unchanged, your existing price remains locked in.
The new price and current service agreement will apply when you make a change that recalculates your subscription price, including:
- Upgrading or downgrading your plan
- Changing your billing cycle
- Making another billing or plan change that triggers repricing
If you want to move to a longer billing term at your current price, you can do so before the new prices go live on 19 September. Changes made after launch will use the new pricing and agreement.
What happens next
- We’ll release the new storage stock and update EUR pricing on 19 September.
- Existing unchanged subscriptions will continue at their current price.
We remain committed to being open about changes that affect our customers. Thank you for choosing Ultra.cc and for supporting the continued growth of our storage platform.
If you have questions about your subscription or how a plan change would affect your price, please contact our support team before making the change.
Best Regards,
Ultra.cc Management.
